As a senior lecturer in Auburn University's English Department, teaching is my primary area of interest and Twentieth-century American Literature is my primary field of study.  I have also often taught Early American Literature, World Literature, and our core composition classes.  Occasionally, I have taught British literature and Business Writing.  I live in Auburn, Alabama, a small football village in the east-central part of the state, though I spent the first 30 years of my life in the Virginia Tidewater, an excellent place to appreciate the rich complexity of American history.
